Tough as nails! A couple of first graduates from the Keilir-TRU Adventure Studies Program in Iceland are currently attending university studies at TRU Adventure Studies Department? in Canada. This is what Sharman Learie, Coordinator of the TRU Adventure Certificate Program, had to say about them:
"The Icelandic students from Keilir have been a wonderful addition to the 2nd year of our Adventure Guide Diploma. Coming from a small island in the North Atlantic gives them a unique perspective that adds depth to the rest of the student experience here at TRU. They are tough as nails, hardworking and a welcome addition to our program here in Canada."
