A total of sixteen students from six different countries began this year's Adventure Guide class, the seventh time Keilir and Thompsons Rivers University offer the program in Iceland.

Adventure Guide students at Keilir will have an orientation day on Monday 27 August. Students are requested to meet in room B7 in Keilir main building at Asbru in Reykjanesbær.

Keilir has received applications for the Thompson Rivers University Adventure Guide Program in Iceland for Fall semester 2018 from a number of different countries including the United States, Norway, Greenland, Denmark and Germany.

The Keilir-TRU Adventure Guide Studies Program for the academic year 2017 - 2018 starts with an orientation day on 18 August 2017.

Terry Palechuk is the lead instructor for both our our Avalanche Skills Training courses as well as for our first ever Ski Tour 1 course starting this week at the Tröllaskagi Peninsula in North Iceland.
