Tuition for the school year 2022-2023: ISK 1.890.000

The applicant is charged a registration fee of ISK 75.000 upon application approval. The registration fee is non-refundable and is subtracted from the total tuition fee for the fall term. Tuition fee for the fall term is therefore 870.000 and is due first of July and 945.000 for the spring term, due first of December.

Included in tuitions are access to specialized equipment required for practical courses, travel and lodging during practical courses. Tuition does not include food and lodging during theoretical courses or when courses are conducted from the Keilir campus.

The process

  • Once your application has been approved, you will receive an information letter from Keilir's accounting department regarding the registration fee.
  • Half of your tuition will be due in August, before the start of your program. With the registration fee subtracted from the total amount.
  • The second (and final) half of your tuition is then due in January.
  • Elective courses (Ski-touring & Sea-kayak) are paid seperately and not included in tuition.

Tuition is to be paid before first class each semester.

Icelandic applicants can apply for financial aid through Menntasjóður námsmanna. International applicants are encouraged to explore financial aid options in their country of origin.
