Keilir Academy and Reykjanes Geopark recently signed a partnership agreement on development of education, courses, and international collaborative projects.
The aim of the partnership is to create a platform for further advancement of educational projects within Reykjanes Geopark. Projects are intended to build a sustainable destination, further geoscientific education and literacy as well as contribute to increased quality and value in tourism.
The agreement authorizes Keilir to take initiative in exploring opportunities for educational innovation within the Geopark as well as propose and evaluate domestic and international petitions for collaboration. In addition, Reykjanes Geopark gains access to specialists within the Keilir innovation department.
