MCC - Registration

The Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) consists of at least 25 hours of theory and 20 hours of flight training in a simulator in addition to extensive self-study, online CBT and supplementary materials.

The objectives with the training is for the student to learn how to cooperate in the airline environment while applying general and practical knowledge of aircraft operations and using all resources available to the crew in a line-oriented environment.

The transition from flying single pilot piston aircraft to a turbojet aircraft at higher speeds with far greater momentum and more advanced systems is challenging. Much of the Airline Transport Pilot theory has been up to this point untried and the course will recap some of the fundamental elements of flying a turbojet aircraft while putting it into the perspective of the multi-crew airline operation.

You will learn jet handling skills using procedures in our ALSIM ALX simulator, but keep in mind that this course is not a type rating course and an in-depth study of particular systems is not the scope of the course in the time allotted.

The Multi-Crew Cooperation Course (MCC) is an intense learning environment that requires skilled and experienced instructors to create an effective learning. We are extremely proud to have put together an incredible team as all of our instructors have vast and varied experience as instructors and as airline pilot

Pre-entry requirements

To parcipate in the MCC training course, the applicant shall have:

  1. Fluency in English; ICAO Level 4 (or higher). The student may be permitted to complete the training provided an English Language Proficiency Assessment is completed to be level 4 or greater prior to course completion.
  2. Hold or have held a valid CPL and ME/IR. If the student has completed the ME/IR skill test but is still waiting for licence, the student may join the course providing a copy of the examiner report prior to start. A copy of the licence is needed before a course completion certificate is issued.

Jet Orientation Course - JOC is also available. It is an additional training for MCC holders without any jet experience. The aim of the course is to make students familiar with handling and characteristics of flying a jet.

Students who like to add the JOC to their MCC, please make a note of that here below in the "other information" section.
