Theoretical Modular ATPL Courses start in November

Next Modular ATPL courses start on 16 November 2020. Iceland Aviation Academy teaches in accordance with the EASA Part-FCL requirements and have approved teaching status from the Icelandic Civil Aviation Administration; furthermore, the course syllabus follows that given out by EASA in accordance with pan-European issuing directives for pilot licenses.

Iceland Aviation Academy offers Flight Instructor Refresher Seminars on a regular basis. The next course takes place 5 - 6 October 2020. The course takes two days and is taught 17 - 20 each day at our faciliteis in Hafnarfjordur, Iceland.

Mandatory use of face-masks at Keilir

In light of recommendations from The Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management and in accordance with newly introduced regulations from the Ministry of Education, there will be a mandatory use of face-masks in all school facilities at Keilir Academy from 21 September 2020.

Multi-Crew Cooperation Course (MCC)

The course gives the pilot the rights to work in a multi-crew aircraft. The Multi-Crew Cooperation Course (MCC) consists of at least 25 hours of theory and 20 hours of flight training in a simulator in addition to extensive self-study, online CBT and supplementary materials.
