1.200 people have graduated as professional pilots in Iceland

The newly merged Icelandic Flight School and Keilir Aviation Academy have jointly graduated close to 1,200 professional pilots during the past two decades. Keeping in mind that the aviation industry predicts that 800,000 pilots are needed over the next twenty years, pilot training in Icelandic is going to play an important part for the future of aviation both in Iceland and abroad.

Keilir signs operation agreement with Flugverk

Keilir Aviation Academy (KAA) has signed a CAMO arrangement with Flugverk in Iceland regarding service and maintenance of all training aircraft at the flight school. The agreement takes place on 1 December.

New publication by Dr. Hilmarsson

Dr. Hilmar Þór Hilmarsson Professor at the University of Akureyri, School of Business and Science, and former Advisor to Keilir Academy, has published a new book. The publishing company is Routledge Taylor & Francis Group. The book is entitled: “The Economic Crisis and its Aftermath in the Nordic and Baltic Countries - Do As We Say and Not As We Do.”
