General Information

• Tuition fees must be paid in advance for each semester. They shall be up front payments and paid on each bills due date/last payment date in accordance with the tuition at each time. Collection of tuition is done for each students registration on the start date of each semester, as stated here in the course fees. Any late payments will carry with them the highest allowable delayed payments cost. 
• Payment slips are sent by e-mail to students and therefore do not appear in online banking. Information about payment methods is received in the same e-mail.
• Tuition shall be paid in advance and are non-refundable.
• All flight training shall be concluded in the time as described in the general overview of the course. All extra flight lessons are charged according to unit rates.
• Iceland Aviation Academy reserves the right to dismiss students that do not fulfill any requirement laid out in the Academy's manuals.

Integrated Commercial Pilot License (Integrated ME CPL/IR)

Our Commercial Pilot License program is designed to take students from their first flight to full certification as commercial pilots. Program duration is generally 24 months

Tuition: 14.500.000 ISK (currency conversion) full price with minimum hours included

Tuition for PPL entry: 12.500.000 ISK full price with minimum hours included

• ATPL textbooks
• Access to the school's LMS
• All the necessary equipment for theoretical training (Plotter, flight calculator, Jeppesen guidebooks, etc.)

Modular Commercial Pilot License

Our Modular Commercial Pilot License program is comprised of multiple courses, all study materials and lessons are included in course prices.

Modular ATPL Ground Training

Modular ATPL Ground Training is a 650-hour course conducted over two to three semesters.

Modular CPL Flight Training

Modular Commercial Pilot License Flight Training consists of three main courses. Students can register for a single course in which case time requirements and pricing differ minutely.

Private Pilot Program

The Private Pilot Program is split into ground and flight training, students are encouraged to collect hours during ground training modules.

Private Pilot Package

Flight Instructor Certificate

The Flight Instructor Certificate (FI) prepares you for the role as a flight instructor.
