Umbreyting réttinda

Skilyrði umbreytingar er að umsækjandi hafi í gildi jafngilt ICAO skírteini og réttindi. Í því felst að viðkomandi umsækjandi geti neytt réttinda skv. ICAO skírteini sínu þar til hann fær útgefið EASA Part-FCL skírteini.

Vakin er sérstök athygli á því að þrátt fyrir að heimilt sé að stytta námskeið m.v. kröfur reglugerða þá þarf umsækjandi að uppfylla allar aðrar kröfur reglugerðarinnar, t.d. um heildarflugtíma (þ.m.t. kröfur um landflug), inntökuskilyrði á námskeið, bókleg- og verkleg próf o.s.frv.

  • FAA/ICAO CPL í EASA CPL

    The conversion course from FAA/ICAO CPL to EASA CPL consists of the following:

    • 5 hours DA42
    • 1.5 hours DA42 aircraft rental for skill test

    Pre-entry requirements

    Acceptance into our CPL conversion course requires:

    • A valid ICAO CPL
    • A pass in all EASA ATPL theory examinations
    • A valid EASA class 1 medical certificate
    • A cross country flight of 300 nm with full stop landings at two different airports

  • FAA/ICAO MEP to EASA MEP

    The conversion course from FAA/ICAO MEP class rating to EASA multi-engine piston class rating consists of:

    • 3 hours DA42
    • 1.5 hours DA42 aircraft rental for skill test 

    Pre-entry requirements

    Acceptance into our multi engine piston class rating conversion course requires:

    • A valid ICAO Multi engine piston class rating
    • A pass in all EASA ATPL theory examinations
    • A valid EASA class 1 medical certificate

  • FAA/ICAO SE/IR to EASA SE/IR

    This course consists of two phases. In the first you will convert your FAA/ICAO SE/IR to EASA SE/IR. You will have to pass the skill test and have your EASA instrument rating added on to your EASA license before commencing phase two. You must also hold a MEP class rating (please see MEP conversion for further details). The course consists of:

    Phase 1

    • 10 hours Redbird MCX simulator
    • 5 hours DA40
    • 1.5 hours DA aircraft rental for skill test

    Phase 2

    • 5 hours DA42
    • 1.5 hours DA42 aircraft rental for skill test
