CPL/ME/IR, ATPL theory

The Advanced Training Program cost € 44.800

The program is designed for students with previous flying experience who have decided to pursue a professional pilot career. The duration of the program is in the region of 14-16 months and after completion you have gained the licenses and ratings required in commercial aviation. 

Theoretical training

The course is a full time "on-site" course and comprises 14 subjects, to assist the student in the learning process we use a state-of-the-art interactive Learning Management System from CAE Oxford Aviation Academy. All students are provided with an iPad for use during the theoretical training which enables the student to prepare for the classroom instruction where wi-fi is available: for example in-between flights at our flight training department, in the school library or at home. 

The ATPL theoretical course is a challenging and rewarding course and the highest theoretical degree you can complete within Commercial Aviation.

Pre-entry requirements

Acceptance into our Advanced Training Program requires the following criteria to be met: 

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Passed a pre-entry test in English, Mathematics and Physics
  • Holder of a EASA Private Pilot License (PPL)
  • Holder of a Night Rating (NR)
  • Holder of a EASA Medical Class 1 certificate
  • ICAO English LPA level 4 or greater
  • At least 100 hours PIC time (Pilot-in-command) on SEP(A) aircraft
  • Proof of no criminal record 

Please note that you must have obtained 200 hours total flight time when applying for your CPL.
